About Expand IP

Expand IP Pty Ltd is an Australian company founded in 2008 by its Managing Director, Jamie White.

Expand IP is based on the Gold Coast and was created with the view of providing specialist intellectual property services to businesses of all sizes.

Jamie’s academic excellence is evidenced by First Place awards at Bond University in the Electronic Commerce and the Law, IT and the Law and Entrepreneurship subjects. Jamie is now sought by the Bond University Faculty of Law as guest lecturer to undergraduate and post-graduate students in the Electronic Commerce and the Law and Franchising Law subjects.

Jamie is currently undertaking the Master of Laws program at Bond University and his qualifications include:

• Graduate Certificate Trade Mark Law and Practice, University of Technology, Sydney

Jamie has vast experience in advising small to medium sized businesses on all aspects of intellectual property, including trade marks, designs, copyright, licensing, franchising and commercialisation strategies. Jamie has also had extensive first-hand experience in electronic commerce which is evidenced via his directorship of numerous companies including Tennismart Pty Ltd (www.tennismart.com.au) and Intellibrand Pty Ltd.

Jamie regularly delivers presentations relating to intellectual property on behalf of the National Stock Exchange of Australia, Commerce Queensland, Southport Chamber of Commerce, Volunteering Gold Coast and other organisations.
